“I planned on staying in this boutique hotel for 2 nights, but after an emergency, needed to add one more. When I checked out after my initial stay, I did so feeling as if I would return again. The staff was so gracious and made us feel welcome each and every time we were around the lobby. The rooms were small, as NYC rooms typically are, but very well organized, efficient with their space, and felt nice to be in. The lobby had a great vibe and the bar area was nice to spend time in. When I unexpectedly returned many hours after check out, I was quite distressed and needed to get checked in quickly. The manager did what he could to help me research a room, and when things became complicated with the app, he took over and managed my reservation for me. By this point, I had burst into tears and was fully sobbing in the lobby. The staff couldn't have been sweeter. They brought tissues, water, were kind and generous, and expedited getting me into a room, which I think they may have secretly upgraded to put me in a quiet spot. When I ordered room service, since I couldn't leave, the waiter couldn't have been kinder, and the food from the restaurant was delicious. When I checked out, I asked the morning staff to thank the night staff for being so kind to me when I was experiencing a crisis, and he simply replied, "Of course. That's what we do here. We're all like family." For me, this place felt like a warm home on a cold winter weekend.”

“This is a nice, newly opened hotel that is working through a few growing pains. The shades in our room didn’t open beyond a 2 feet off the ground despite being placed in a “room with a view.” Maintenance came and fixed the shades which was very helpful. Rooms are small but it’s New York and you’re not staying at The Plaza—so temper your expectations and don’t be surprised when you don’t get a Texan-sized suite. Overall, my experience was great and I would stay here again!”
