Attended a work gala dinner here. Lifts are virtually useless and so expect to queue or face the stairs. We had a fire alarm during dinner, we were sent out down the fire exit onto the car park roof but we were there a good 10/15mins before the staff showed up to direct us how to get down to ground level. Seriously dangerous if the building had actually been on fire! I would expect better emergency planning than this.

Rooms outdated and not the same as the pictures. Booked the privilege room but looked a lot different to what the picture shown. Instead of the sofa it was just a single chair, just a small complaint adding to the one at large. The main complaint was the room itself and sockets. Absolutely no sockets near the bed, there was 2 behind the the coffee machine (opposite end to where the bed was) however they didn't work. We had 1 working socket between 2 of us, which was near the main door. Then tried to call reception to have someone fix/amend if they can - no dial tone on the phone. Had to go down, mentioned it to a member of staff but nobody arrived after waiting patiently. Went to the restaurant to grab a beer to take back up to the room whilst getting ready, seen the same staff member who asked if it was sorted, when I said no nobody has been, she said she would chase it up/come herself if needs be. Neither happened. Third time went back to reception who then just have me a key card for a different room... The new room - no coffee pods/facilities had been re-stocked. No loo roll had been re-stocked. I ended up going back to the original room to take it out of there before handing the key card in for it, as I probably would still be waiting now. The last part, around 9am the following morning I heard loud knocks on the door (do not disturb was on the door) so I ignored it, as I wasn't dressed and still in bed. Next thing door opens, they see the bags and then quickly leaves the room before I had a chance to look who it was. Obviously reception hadn't updated to say we had moved rooms. Absolutely appalling.

Les cuento mi experiencia: Llegamos a las 2 de la mañana y nuestra habitación no estaba lista!! Así que mandaron a limpierla en ese momento, por lo cual tuvimos que esperar casi 30 minutos para eso (es decir que pasamos a la habitación pasadas las 2.30 de la mañana). No solo nos pasó a nosotros.. sino que observamos que habían como 3 personas o más que también estaban esperando sus habitaciones. Llegar antes del horario de check-in es completamente entendible esta situación, pero llegar HORAS más tarde y que no esté la habitación es decepcionante. La habitación era una mugre, es decir, estaba MUY sucio, asqueroso. El piso super sucio, en el baño habían pelos de hombre en la ducha y en el lavamanos. El inodoro se encontraba sucio también. La habitación es alfombrada y también super sucia. Las superficies con polvo. No nos quejamos en ese entonces ya que nos encontrábamos extremadamente cansados dado el viaje y la hora en que llegamos. De todas maneras al día siguiente entraron a "limpiar" la habitación y no hubo ninguna diferencia, solo ordenaron las camas. Las habitaciones NO son silenciosas. La puerta del baño ni siquiera cerraba. Más allá de eso, la ubicación es excelente, hay que resaltar eso. Llegas a todos lados caminando. Además el personal de la recepción muy amable también. Lamentable la limpieza y el hecho de no tener las habitaciones listas al llegar.

I would like to thank the employee who greeted us upon arrival, and I think his name is ibbe. He was very classy. He explained everything about the hotel. The location of the hotel is very special and excellent. The taxi line is opposite the hotel , also they have great breakfast. the bus station and Piccadilly station are only ten minutes walk away. Under the hotel in the same street there are many restaurants, cafes and a supermarket

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend. I was left in the dark from a booking perspective but this turned out to be by far the best location you can choose from as a visitor. Everything was on my doorstep! (Bars , clubs, shops ) or at worst case a short walk. Our room was modern, however it was on the smaller side but I would still 100% choose this hotel when i visit again.

Great location in the city centre and if you're on the right side a great view over the city. The rooms are clean and tidy but as per many hotels still lack power sockets by the bed. It did have USB ports built into the bedside lights, however these are over a meter higher than the bed so unless you have a long charger cable, your phone will be dangling in the air.

Zak on front desk very friendly and good at prioritising, booked early check in so no queue for lift, card needed for room floors felt very secure. Air con works well. Bathroom and bed clean. Good value, although the bathroom door in 1010 was broken.Stayed here twice in separate visits. Remains my favourite hotel for location, value and comfort.

Very dated and not in a sweet nostalgic way. Staff completely lacked any sense of urgency. Room was basic with brackets and marks on the walls that could have easily been covered and removed. Breakfast was complicated, with coffee on one side of the room and cereal on the other. Very bizarre stay. Fine if you just want to get your head down but I will be staying elsewhere in future.

Sounds like a great hotel. Appearance and welcoming is fine... Firstly there were no hand gels in the dispenser by the lift... The room I been to visit my friend got not fridge no room phone... Room number was 701... But the lady in the reception was outstanding...smily and helpful..

Me and my partner stopped over for 3 nights and it was a wonderful stay! Bed was super comfy, the room was lovely and clean when we arrived. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside is the lifts, I feel as though they were a little too small and there weren't enough for the location and how busy it seemed to be! Even though we are now coming out of COVID rules there's people like me who are still cautious of sharing such a small area with so many people especially during the hours where some are rushing in and out of the hotel. The price was about right too I'd say, being near all the great shopping spots in the city! Will definitely book again for when we next visit Manchester :)

As we are the global traveler,so we got the chance to compare different hotel in all aspect. Unfortunately sorry to say that, all of It'smanpower need more training on communication, guest service and guest handling. They are young and energetic with super friendly attitude.That's awesome just need proper guidelines and training.

Highly recommended. Staff are lovely, rooms are clean. Disinfected from head to toe. Had a peak at their reception hall for functions and its just magnificent.Local to food, activities and trains. Definitely visit Media City.

Este hotel no me gustó nada. Le pongo una estrella porque no puedo poner menos. Pagué por una habitación luxury y era de todo menos eso. Pedimos un cambio de habitación para que por lo menos la cama fuera de matrimonio (íbamos mi marido y yo) pero el resto de la habitación era muy normalita. No volvería a este hotel.

Atención del personal inmejorable. En mi habitación no funcionaba el aire acondicionado y hacía mucho frío. Aunque intentaron arreglarlo al final sólo pudieron darme un calefactor. Las vistas del bar están muy bien. Las habitaciones silenciosas y cómodas.

Hotel céntrico, servicio deficiente, cuartos pequeños, pero buenas camas y almohadas... Tiene lo necesario para estar de pasó, lo que sí es que fuera del hotel hay mucho vagabundo y gente viciosa no es muy seguro de noche

En general todo muy bien. En algunos casos me pareció que había personal excelente, como una chica con acento escocés en la excepción y el caballero concierge. Sin embargo otros dejaban ver una actitud de pocas ganas de trabajar o desconocimiento del trabajo. Mi principal queja es la baja señal de Internet en el cuarto. Lo reporté, pero nada hicieron.
